STEP 1: COACH REGISTERS TEAM ONLINE

Click on the registration button towards the bottom of the page for your team.

Coaches will need to know:

Coach Contact Info

Division (Team Age group/Grade)

Team name

Competition Level

To complete your team registration, Coaches MUST register their Team and Submit a COMPLETED Roster that has been signed by the parents of the team

STEP 2: PAY FOR TEAM ($350 PER TEAM)

Team Registration must be PAID to be included in the tournament schedule. Coaches should handle all payments for their team. Coaches can either pay online or Mail in a check.

PAY ONLINE:

Coaches can pay online immediately after they have completed their registration or come back later & pay online at another time.

LEVEL GUIDELINES

What Level Do I Choose?

Level 1, 2, or 3?

SVNJB has adopted a system for coaches to choose the proper level of competition to place their teams. We receive many questions regarding coaches looking for direction in what level their teams should be in. To keep teams from “Sand Bagging” and to keep some kind of parity in the divisions, we needed to establish guidelines and special rules.

The main problems we have experienced are teams in level 2 or 3 that should be in level I, having unfair advantages. We have broken down the levels for you below.

LEVEL 1: HIGHEST

Most competitive level for AAU teams, Higher level All-Net teams, Club teams, competitive all-star teams, top of division teams, elite teams, and any other highly competitive teams.

Level 1 Age Qualification

LEVEL 2: MODERATE

Moderately Competitive teams looking for better competition but not close to the best in their division. Teams may include lower level AAU & All-Net teams, school teams & more.

Level 2 Age Qualification

LEVEL 3: LOWEST

Recreational teams, lower level school teams, less competitive divisional teams, or teams that play in rec leagues. Designated for teams more towards the lower end of their division.

PARENTS / SPECTATORS INFO

SVNJB requires all parents/spectators to maintain good sportsmanship throughout the course of the event. We promote a great youth sports atmosphere, and we encourage everyone to cheer and get loud and support their son or daughters team. However do not let it get out of control. As an adult, please set a good example for all the children at this event. If you are asked to leave the event, your son or daughter may be asked to leave with you. Your team may also forfeit the game. If a fight breaks out, the tournament supervisor will clear the court of all spectators if deemed necessary and no refunds will be given.

SVNJB will not tolerate any of the following:

• Cursing by any parents

• Yelling at game officials regarding calls

• Yelling or arguing with fans of the opposing team

• Any negative or derogatory comments towards opposing players
