GUARANTEED PLAYING TIME

Recreational Divisional teams play five 8 minute periods.  Players receive guaranteed playing time and teams must follow the must play matrix.  Download the document linked below for the breakdown and more specifics.

BOYS & GIRLS | NOT CO-ED

There are separate divisional leagues for boys and girls.  Most chapters hold evaluations and a draft to create their teams.  Contact your chapter for more details on team formation.

8 GAME SEASON

Divisional teams play an 8 game season minimum.  Games are played primarily Sundays except for later in the season and into post season.



POST SEASON TOURNAMENT - CST

At the end of the season, teams participate in a fun and exciting post season tournament called the California Sectional Tournament aka CST.


DIVISIONAL ALL-STARS

At the end of the season, chapters select All-Star teams to participate in a sectional All-Star tournament with an opportunity to advance to a National All-Star tournament held in Southern California.

Here you will find documents and resources pertaining to Divisional All-Stars.

ALL-STAR REQUIREMENTS:

To participate in Division All-Star tournament, your team must complete the certification process.  Team Certification requires each team to submit the team info, player info, and team photo in the online form.  Also, each player needs to have a copy of proof of grade, proof of age, and waiver (If applicable) in case you are challenged on a player's age or grade.  Teams may have digital copies or a binder on hand in case of a challenge.

2025 ALL-STAR TEAM CERTIFICATION

  • Go to the link above and enter the team, chapter, coach info
  • Then add each player's info which includes player name, birthdate, grade, city, zip, and jersey number
  • You will also need to upload a team photo with all players jersey numbers visible
  • Any player missing may upload an individual picture of them in their jersey with the number visible
