SILICON VALLEY NATIONAL JUNIOR BASKETBALL
NJB or National Junior Basketball League is a non-profit youth basketball organization founded in 1984 by Dennis Murphy Jr. Dennis had a vision of a youth basketball league based on sportsmanship and player development. NJB has grown into a national youth league with over 25,000 participants in 6 states. See www.njbl.org for more national information.
In the Northern California (NorCal) NJB Region, we have about 8,500 boys and girls playing NJB basketball.
Silicon Valley NJB has a variety of different programs that are offered throughout the year. From Seasonal Leagues, Clinics, AAU Club Teams, 3 on 3 tournaments, and much more!

SVNJB has a Skill Development Program to help players work on and improve their basketball skills through various drills and live ball scrimmaging.

The Winter League, by far is our biggest and most popular league of the year with over 450+ teams within our 14 Silicon Valley chapters. Our chapters cover much of the South Bay Area from the Northern Penisula near Redwood City down past Hollister.
To register for Winter League you must register with you local home winter NJB chapter. To find your chapter use our chapter map tool.
If your local chapter is not accepting any new players you can try the next chapter near you. You will need to fill out a player release form and have it signed by your City Chapter and NJB’s League Director.
